The concept for this project was to recreate a scenes from the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  This first scene is an interpretation of the title scene.  It is a combination of a scene in the movie and the movies logo.  The lettering and grail are made from high density foam that has been sanded, spackled, and painted.  The background are layers of task board that has been cut and painted.
In this scene is the castle that is seen towards the beginning of the movie.  The castle has been made from foam core that has then been spackled with a brick texture and painted.  The ground is a hill that is made from high density foam and has been painted and covered with faux moss.
Shown above is a scene that takes place at a cave. This model cave has been made from foam insulation that has been carved, spackled, and painted then covered with faux moss.  The ground is made with task board and foam core for support as well as paint, sand, wood chips, and faux miniature bones.
